I'm supposed to be doing homework, but homework is stupid. And our heat isn't working and it's exactly 0 (ZERO) degrees out with a -20 windchill so I've barely left my bed and three blankets all day and I realize this is pathetic but I'm fucking cold. ANYWAY.

If you've been around here for any amount of time, you probably know that I think Karl Urban is kind of sexy. And by 'kind of sexy' I mean SO HOT HE COULD MELT THE SUN. I'm just saying I could use the warmth right now. SO I DECLARE A PICSPAM. But not just any picspam. A picspam of Karl Urban SMILING. THAT'S IT. I'm still in a bit of a funk. Monty Python helped a bit, but I've been thinking about doing this for awhile so I figured why the hell not? PICSPAAAAAAAM. Not just any picspam, though. I saved a ton of crap from the rahmbamarama spam posts. It all looked so sad just sitting on my hard drive.

ANYWAY! Yuletide assignments have gone out (I'm a flipping out a bit about mine so you'll excuse the occasional mad raving that occurs here) so here is my letter to my Yuletide Santa. Anyone who isn't that person can feel free to ignore. :D

Dear yuletide writer,

First off, allow me to shower you with cookies for offering either of these (I know for certain you won't be writing my third fandom, so I won't go into it). I was surprised to see so many people on LJ offer them! I honestly wasn't expecting anyone.

*MST3K*
Hmm. I think what I mentioned in my details covers it fairly well. If I could have really picked all the characters I wanted instead of only four, then I definitely would have chose Servo and Gypsy too. I didn't want to go all out and pick Any. But, like I said, Joel being dad-like and major interaction between him and Crow would be lovely. I asked for a major role for Cambot, but it doesn't *have* to be major. I just wouldn't want him to be completely ignored either; I love the little guy something fierce. If you're one of those gifted writers (and I'm not saying you aren't! Just saying it's hard to write) who can do angst without making them seem OOC, that would be awesome too. Not over the top angst, just a bit. Though I'll leave that part to you. In any case, happy endings are love!

If you think you suck at writing Joel and would prefer to write Mike, then be my guest. I love Mike, too. In that case, I'd ask for mostly the same thing, except being more big-brother like than father-like.

Oh! And don't feel like you have to leave the Mads out completely. I'll just leave that at that.

Bottom line? Gen, pretty please!!

This is the one I really didn't think anyone would offer! Woot!

Again, the details I gave explain the main gist of what I'd like. I do think I should mention that I'm familiar with every series, but the Casefiles are my favorite. Not necessarily the Network angle; man, that was cool when I was in 4th grade but now that I'm 20 it's a little WTF?-ish. What I mean is that they're more modern, I guess. (Although if you love the idea of the Network, I won't stop you from writing it. ;D)

Brotherly banter will win major points with me. So will brotherly arguing, insults, etc. You know, things that show Frank & Joe love each other to death without acutally saying I love you. The more I think about it, the more I kinda want a case involved, but I'll leave that up to you. I asked for Joe-Fenton father/son like interaction because there is so little of it in the books. I don't know why I love it so much, but I do. I didn't choose Laura for any particular reason; if you can't figure out a way to use her, feel free to leave her out.

Again, angst with a happy ending would be awesome. So would gen. Oh, and if it helps at all: Joe is my favorite.

Just so we're clear: all the text on the SPN icons are direct quotes from Mystery Science Theater 3000, with the exception of #18 (it's actually 'cardigan' not 'leather jacket').

I'm not completely done with the MST3K/SPN icons, I just got tired of looking for screencaps that fit the many quotes I've got ready (I don't even think I got to the really funny stuff in this batch). So there will be more someday (that is, if people like these ones). Special thanks to caithream for the quotes used on #18 & #34 and other quotes I haven't used yet. Some of the MST3K quote icons are remakes of my very first icons because those icons looked terrible and I want to burn their very existance from the internet, LOL (not that these ones look great, but the others were a lot worse, IMO). So it's been a rather crappy day, weather-wise and otherwise. Working all day, everyday over Spring Break wasn't the original plan...curse my boss for being so nice and curse me for being so nice right back at her. Anyway. Everything would be all right and good with the world tonight, at least, if only my parents got the CW. *giant emo tear*

I love this scene SO MUCH it isn't funny. Mostly because of that scene in Salvation when Sam does it to Dean for the same reason and it just breaks my heart.

If I had watched the episodes in order, this is where I would have initially offered Dean my soul. He's freaking out and, yet, he won't let Sam get on that plane alone. LOVE.
